Discrimination means you are being unfair to someone because they are black. It also means racism which means your treating people bad because they are from a different culture than you or you are rich and they are poor. The logans respond to discrimination by,little man showed his reaction by jumping on book. The others reacted by being scared and worried. Little man was not scared of the whites because he was brave.

I think discrimination means being judged by color, personality, religon, culture, and family. It's not being fair to others. The Logans respond to it by being angry, refusing to use bad stuff because people think they are lower than others. They have that hatred inside them which they can't express fully. An eexample of that might be when Little man stepped on the book & refused to pic it up.

I think that discrimination means when someone is not treating others fairly because of their race, religion, etc. It also means when someone is harrasing someone else for these reasons. The Logans respond to discrimination by trying to avoid it and getting mad whenever it occurs. They also help whoever have been dicriminated.

I think discrimination means treating someone unfairly because of how they look. Discrimination is found in the story "Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry." The Logans respond to it by not accepting to be called negros. In chapter one, while the Logan children were going to school, a bus passed by and covered the youngest child with dust. The bus didn't even stop for the children. When the youngest kid got covered in dust, the white people in the bus started to laugh. This is a sign of discrimination in the story. I can see that the Logans refuse to be put down.

I think that dicrimination means that it is being unfair to people that are a different race, culture, religion, and even gender. There are many examples of discimination. One time my family and I were coming home from a dinner, we had stopped at a red light then all of the sudden these white people had just started to yelling at us, cusing too. They did this because they had seen my mother which wears a scarf. That is discrimination of culture and religion. Now if you had read earlier I had mentioned that discrimination could also be gender. Well what I mean by that is that people can treat you differently if you are boy or girl, man or woman. I used to have a gym teacher and he did not like girls do when the boys would make a mess the girls would have to clean it up.He made the girls act like we were their servants.

I think that the Logans had responed to it by being angry and mad. I think this because when they were glueing the pages in the books Little Man had threw his on the floor and had began to step on it and refused to pick it up. I think he had done that because he had thought that they were nothing compared to the whites. Back then white people would call them names and I bet that since they had called them names so much that they had started to believe them. If you start to believe something that people are saying about you that is not true then you will start to believe them. This has happened to me before and I had made a mistake by not standing up for myself and holding my ground, so please do not make the same mistake that I had done and so you should always stand up for yourself.

Discrimintion means that some people don't treat you as they do to other people. And thats not fair becuse everyone should be treated fairly as other people. And it also means judging on how they look and if yu do that to someone you could be making fun of Allah's creation. And little man didnt take the book that the teacher gave him because it was all torn apart. Instead he chose to throw it on the floor and step on it.

I think discrimination means that you are not treating everyone fairly because of race, culture or nationality. I think Mary responded to the discrimination fairly well. But I think Little Man and Cassie responded to it in not the best way but handled it as much as they could because they are minors. I think that Cassie handled it best 'cause she didn't step on it. She handled it in a reasonable manner.

I believe that the word discrimination means differentiating on terms of, race, color, religion, rights etc. So basically all of this means, not accepting people for who they are and always judging them from what they look like and what they have, in other words it means being prejudice. In the book, from my point of view I think that that the Logan’s respond to discrimination in an unhappy and angry way at the unfair treatment and they did try to stand up for their rights at the injustice . I think this because, for example in chapter1, Little Man was unpleased that the only books that they got was books that the white children didn’t want and when he tried to stand up for his right, he was yelled at and commanded to pick up the book and sit down and when he got mad and started stepping on the book, he got switched. So from all of this I think that the people were prejudiced based on color, and they looked down on black people and treated them badly and a perfect quote for all of this is, “Never judge a book by its cover.”

Discrimination means judging people by the way they look which I think is injustice because it doesn't matter how you look, but it matters about your character. Just because someone is a different color doesn't mean you should treat them in a bad way. They might be really good of a person inside. The Logans respond to it by, Cassie and Little Man don't take their book because it says something rude to call African Americans and Little Man even steps on his book. They were standing up for their rights.

I think that discrimination means to judge someone by religion, nationality, color, or family. Discrimination is being unfair because you are judging people on there outside. You need to look in the inside of people before you make a decision about them. The Logan family responds to it by being angry and sad at the same time. Little Man threw his book on the floor at school because it was all torn up and dirty. It wasn't fair that the white people got better books than the black people.I think Little Man was very angry that he didn't get his right and just let out some of his anger by throwing the book on the floor and jumping on it.

As I said before, I belive dis crimination mens degrading people because you dont like what they look like or some other petty reason. The Logans responded by either taking Drastic measures like little man or being calm and explaining to peaple why discriminating is bad. People should not treat other people becouse of skin color! It is a very foolish way of thinking! I cannot belive people should not let others be by them because of their place of origin or they way they look, talk, walk, or do anything else. Miz Logan, in the book, Expressed how she felt about dis crimination by not caring when Daisy Crocker scolded her about fixing books. miz crocker said that "Mary Logan you are biting of the hand that feeds you" because she wanted to tell her that she was going to lose everything in cluding her job if she tried to do enything bad.

Discrimination means by leaving out people by there religions or color. It is unfair to be treated like and outsider. When the kids were given the book, they were noy pleased. The whites would get the best looking books and there's would be torn up and old. Discrimination is when you are treating people differently because they are not rich or bad looking like not pretty or handsome. The Logans were against discrimination by showing that they really hated it by when Little Man got the book and stopped on it on the floor. The kids were saying shhh and thay were scared beacuse the whites could overpower them. Little Man was brave and stood up that he doesn't like it and there should be something done!!!

Discrimination means when someone isn't being treated fairly due to his color, race, religion etc. It also means when someone isn't alowed to have certain privliges or is not alowed to by certain products because of the reasons stated above. The Logans responded to discrimination by trying to stay away from it but losing their temper when faced with it. For example when the teacher wouldn't take Little Man's book back he jumped all over it. They also respond by asking questions about why they don't have what whites have.

The word discrimination means to exclude people. You can exclude people by their skin tone, religion or their past history. Discrimination also is not treating people equal and having no reason why their not treating people equal.

The logons responds to it by hatred of use of old stuff. The felling that their lower than other people. In a Hadeeth it is narrated that” their is no difference between Arabic and non Arabic except in their taquwa."With mean we should not make people feel their lower than others.

I think the word discrimination means to leave someone out, or be unfair to someone just because they were/are different. In most cases being black. The Logans reacted to the unfairness a lot. For example: When Little man, and Cassie didn't take the books, they reacted to the discrimination that way. Also, when Mrs.Logan was talking to the teacher, she didn't stand the unjustness either, she started gluing the books together.
