I think Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry is alluding to poverty and discrimination, because it shows children's house being destroyed. It looks as if one roll of thunder might have destroyed their home and made them lose everything. There is a energy of fire in the illustration so that might have burned down their house and killed their parents in the story. The children might be sad and angry that they lost everything. I think the story is about some African American kids who are discriminated. Later their parents die in a fire and they have to live by themselves while being made fun of and being mistreated. The children's faces are sad as if they passed through a tragedy. They are also looking a little mad like they are angry at someone or something. Their faces also shows that this story might have some sad parts.

The title roll of thunder here my cry means that a storm came and after the storm thunder came so they are trying to call for help from the thunder. Later they are homeless with no parent, shelter or money to buy food. it looks like the children are sad about their home and looks like they are angry at kids for maybe making fun of them because of their color. I belive that everyone should not be judged by their color and everone is equal. In the story looks like a few african kids with no house and only their older sister left to depend on. One must read the book because there are probobly so many guesses but there is only one main guess. On the cover of the book it looks like their house was burned down but it is worse that their house is burned down and they are not rich where they are also not normel they look about below normel. those are their only clothes and they have no shoes and their clothes are a bit ruined. It looks like from the cover it will be a sad and a dramatic book.
I think roll of thunder here my cry is about three siblings that were discriminated, and so someone (a Wight) had put the house on fire and the parents died and that's probably two reasons why they were crying. The force of the burning fire had destroyed there house and all there valuable things they had in there house. When I see the faces on the front cover I see as if they had lost a big part of there heart or that there heart was broking into half because they are bursting into tears. I think that roll of thunder is referring to discrimination and that there are three kids who's parents had died and have to live from place to place and maybe even streets. The faces on the characters are as if something tragic happened and that's why I assume that the parents had died in the fire. There faces look very sad.

Their house probably got desroyed by a fire which would be the roll of thunder. The kids probably want someone to hear their cry, so that they can be saved. I think the story is about children that are dicriminated because they are black. When thier houre got burnt down their parents probably died and now they only have their older sister to take care of them. I think that they will live a misreable life because they are so poor. They might have to live in their old house, which got burnt down. At the end something good might happen to them, like a person finding them and taking care of them. The children have very sad expressions on their faces. That is probably because thier hose got burnt down and their parents died.
I think Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry is referring to someone in need.And judging from the cover it's telling me that it's probably the girl.The cover also tells me that it is probably about a girl who is being judged against by her color because there are only African Americans on the cover.Also the picture looks old and they used to discriminate in the olden times.
I think that this book relates to our unit because one of the main ideas of this unit is forces and on the cover there is a fire and we all know that a fire can't start by itself,right?A force must have started it,it could have been a natural force like lightning or it could have been a human force like a white person being prejudice agains a family because of their color.
Judging from the expressions on the character's faces they must have gone through something horrible.One (the smallest one)is looking very disheartened.The other two are looking sad but at the same time surprised.I am going to guess that whatever was set on fire must have been very close to them.Since the children are just children they must have never seen a kind of treachery like that which explains the the look of surprise on their faces.
I think that Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry is a heart warming story and kind of sad because tthe fire looks like it destroyed there home. There parents might of been killed in the story. It looks like there are african american kids in the story and they are upset because of them being mistreated by ther looks. The family looks upset and terrified. If I was in there shoes then I would be REALLY upset. I dont think they are muslims in the story. I would pray and still make dua to Allah (SWT)to help me and my family. Thanks to Allah (SWT) we have a nice house and parents. I do not make fun or mistreat african americans.
I think roll of thunder hear my cry is a very curious title by that mean that you can make many conclusions from this title. I believe hear my cry means hear me when I speak you should listen because were all equal you are not a princess and I your slave. By roll of thunder is when something bad happens such as someone is being made fun of hear my cry as in listen. By the picture I consider that the book is about segregation and in the time of racism. In the picture the children look vary sad and there is a fire so maybe it means fire blazing in the children’s hearts. Force is not only by actions it can be the force of my tears can be enough to make tears in another’s eyes. Also that force can make enough energy that some one will do something about it. Examples are such as in the time of racism African Americans had fires burning in there heart so MLK had enough force to do something about it.
I honestly think that they are going through the great depression. You can see in their eyes that they sense fear. The little children are going to their sister, that probably mean that they have no parents. That would be very difficult, because it looks like they are in the middle of an earthquake. The kids look they are homeless because they are outside and not dressed in very nice clothing. That would be very hard in contrast to a rich person. Allhamdulillah I do not have to live like that.

Discrimination is separating whites and blacks so whites get better treatment. It is not good because Allah (SWT) made everyone equal. It is also kinetic energy because it is energy being used. The energy being used is abusing them and giving them bad schools.

I think roll of thunder hear my cry is a book about little orphins that lose their home from a thunder storm. The book looks like it took place in the begining of 1900's. And in the 1900's they believed that black people are supposed to be slaves. The cover shows kids that seem to be poor orphins that lose thier home. I think they lost it from either a storm or the white americans probably broke it down. the characters on the cover look very sad and scared. They seem to rely on the big sister. The book seems to be very sad. The kids look like they will be cared for because on the cover they have good clothing. I think at is alluding to colored children(orphans)who are tortured by white people,and then they are surrounded by thunder which turns almost all the crops on fire. In the story the energy is the fire which burned down the crops.what i see on the faces of the children is fright because they are in the middle of thunder which is burning down almost everything and is about to ruin there lives by making them homeless. After the fire they have to take care of them selves and each other.
i thinke this titel means that the people are sayinng roll of thonder hear my cry because there house has been struk with the forse of energy that was made of lots of clouds. ithink this book wil talk about a family hows hous has burned down and know they are home less and have no food to eat so they have to ask people for money and food i think most people will not give them any money or food because of how they look and the coloer of ther skin. i think this story will be sad a,angry and homeless.
