Are there any similarities between this image and the images of jobless people the current jobs crisis is causing. Discuss the problems faced by the regular population then and now. Yes there are many similarities because in the picture it is showing a girl with her kids sitting on the street probably because she or her husband had lost their job. That then caused the banks to take their house away and that led to living on the streets with no capability for food, water, and shelter. In this time there are many people living on the streets some that lie that are really rich but greedy for money. Also in roll of thunder hear my cry because in the novel they are in the time of segregation and the great depression. In this novel on the cover they may have been segregated and put fire to the house and had you live on the street with nothing to keep them living. In this year it is like a small depression that is happening because of the unemployment. However in this year it is a smaller depression; in 1929 the depression was so sever because there was a very high unemployment. This shows about the great depression and the small depression and everyday life all include the same issue. Such as no jobs lead to bankrupt and that leads to living on the street.
I think that there are some similarities between the image and the images of jobless people the current job crisis is causing like, the fact that this lady seems poor and that people now are becoming poor once they loose their job. This lady also looks very sad and depressed. That is how people that loose their jobs right now. People that loose their jobs hace no other way to make alot of money. That is why alot of people now are loosing their houses from the bank. People now might loose their jobe because people stopped buying a certain thing that they sell. For example the company Ford was firing alot of people. A reaon for that could be because people stopped buying Fords or not alot of people buy them anymore. Back then there were not as many people as there are now and the way things are made is much better now. There were alot of less people in the past so less people had jobs. It is like a flower. The only thing about this flower is that we are forgetting to water it. The economy goes high and low now. It keeps changing every once in a while. Now the economy is starting to go lower. People are starting to have thier houses taken away because they can't keep up with the payment and their bills. Some people get their air conditioning and their water taken away because they can't pay their bills. People call what we are witnessing now a recetion. It is not a depression yet. Many people are facing problems now that have been faced during The Great Depression. People are loosing their jobs, their houses, their money. These are all things that happened during The Great Depression. If this recetion lasts for a very long time it will turn into a Great Depression.
One simialarity I noticed is that in all of them the man or woman is lokking stressed.Which is pretty obvious because they just lost their job or got kicked out of their home,how can they be happy?Another similarity I noticed is that usually the pictures of jobless people include their chilren who look very young which makes the image look even sadder.
Michigan's unemployment rate is getting lower and lower which was one of the biggest economical issues there was during the Great Depression.Since there was no job to give them money they couldn't pay rent which leads to another problem many people are and were facing,home foreclosure.In the picture the two children look depressed which means that something must be wrong.It has to be big because if it wasn't then why would the children notice.I think that the worst part of home foreclosure and job loss is that the children are affected too and have to go through many hardships even though they are young.
yes there are some similarities in the picture and the picture of homeless people. the simalaritys are that people lost or got fired from there gobs. Because of the great depression.Some people also lost there houses.this picture shows a man who lost his job and his house.And also the man is thinking i have no money how will i feed my family. all the money. that he had must have been in the banks but know because of the great deprission the banks were crashed and all the money in it was gone for good. the problem is that people don't have enugh money to feed there familys so every day 1 or more people are killing them selfs in othere word sueasiding them selfes.
Yes there are similarities,the people in the images both have sad expressions on their faces,also they have kids and they look dirty.Some problems they faced then and now are that most of the people are losing their homes, are jobless and many factories are closing down thus making thosands of people jobless at one time.
The similarities between this image and the current job crisist
is that during The Great Deppression people lost there jobs ,because of the economy(the same thing is happening as we speak).The image shows a women in need of a job ,because of the loss of her own.The amount of banks that closed during The Great Deppression are no match to the amounts of banks that are closing right now.Alhamdullilah the unemployment rate is only 9.5% ,but sadly during The Great Deppression it was 25-30percent.This does not mean that we should keep the unemployment rate the same,instead we should increase the number of jobs.
Yes I believe so that there are similarities between the jobless people we have now and the jobless people we had in the great depression. I think that it was worse before then now but there are still some people that are jobless now. But as mentioned in the earlier reports some used to abandon their kids kill themselves or die of starvation and much, much more. We still have some of these happening in our community today but the numbers are a lot less. Back in the time of the great depression it was very hard to find work but now you can sell hotdogs and still get the money that you need. I feel that yes we still have some people that look like the people in that picture and we still have jobless people in our community and everyday the less jobs percentage gets higher and higher
