What I think about Angus Tuck is that he is a lazy person. He only cares about himself. He doesn't care about others, not even his sons. He only concentrates on his dreams when he's in Heaven and never heard of Treegap. But Mae Tuck is not a lazy person like Angus Tuck. She DOES care about others like her sons. That is what I think of Mae Tuck and Angus Tuck.
I think Angus Tuck has a big differnce with Mae! Tuck is more in the house not outside. He dosn't want to go with Mae to get their children. He isn't so interesting like Mae. Mae is more active. She has alive energy.Like her music box sounds interesting like her.She is more happy to get her sons. Thats what I think about Tuck and Mae.
I think Mae is a caring person. She is very kind and hard working. Mae thinks flexibly. She is not always satisfied with what she has but she always controls her impulsive beavior. On the other hand angus is depressed. I think that because he has no hope for change. Probobly because he knows nothing new will happen. He is not a bad father just because he didn't go to see his boys its that he knows their is no change. *********SENA***************
Yes sena, I agree with you that Mae thinks flexibly but don't you think Angus is trying to live by his past knowledge of heaven and looking forward to the time when he will be there.
I think Mae Tuck is more loving and responsible than Angus Tuck. Mae Tuck is protective of both her sons,and is always alert and on her guard. She was also the only one that tried to comfort Winnie when they kidnapped her. Angus Tuck on the other hand is lazy and less dependable. All he actually did was eat and sleep.
The differences between Angus and Mae is Mae is very thoughtful and kind to go get their children. Mae is more active and outgoing than Angus. Angus is very lazy and should of went with Mae to go get their children i mean it's been 10 years, Angus should of went with Mae. Mae shows empathy to her children. That is very, very kind of her!!!!
Yes I agree with you Hala but I think that Mea tuck is diffrent because she manages her impulsivity and Angus tuck does not. Mea takes responsible riscks. Angus tuck is lazy all he cares about is his draem. on the other hand Mea tuck has empthy for her sons and Angus tuck does not.
i can compare Mae and Angus Tuck from the text because mae and angus tuck drank from the streem and mae is happy that she did because she stayed young.and angus he does not want to live forever.he just wants to be normal.

So far from reading the story, I can tell that Mae Tuck is energetic and usually in a good mood. Mae does not seem very smart because she kidnapped Winnie. Angus Tuck is the opposite of Mae Tuck.He hardly ever smiles and is depressed because he is always dreaming that his life was different. But he seems very aware of whats around him and that is an intelligent behavior.
i think that Angus tuck is not learning with understanding and empathy from his life, he is depressed and is not really learning anything from his life.Also Mae uses all her senses and actually thinks before she acts and she changes her habit of mind when she finds out that she is wrong, and she manages her impulsivity unlike Tuck. Tuck does not really care anymore and does not find humor in his life anymore and is bored in life. He does not care about his family anymore that much. But at the same time, he has been living for so long, that he is now so miserable and Mae Tuck is still trying to hold on and not become like Tuck, and shse has a much better attitude about life.
